There are certain songs that you absolutely have to use a 12 string on, THIS is one of them!
First, apologies … I’ve been reposting stuff from WAY back because I’ve found that I can do better/or correct them. This is one … I’ve rewritten the intro chords and bridge chords so they make more “guitar” sense. Also, the intro is tabbed out.
It seems that with the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, this is appropriate. The song tells the tale of a group of space explorers who embark on what is, from their perspective, a year-long voyage. Upon their return, however, they realize that a hundred years have passed, because of the time dilation effect in Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, and the loved ones they left behind are now all dead or aged.
