Can you sync the tempos to the boss rc5 looper with the BB as master?

A quick forum search reveals:
Hi all,
thought i would share my experience syncing BB and Boss RC5 for those who have similar queries like I had initially, now that i have used them for couple of months, these points cover all the answers to the questions above.
When BB set as Master and Rc5 as slave:
They sync very well, BB sends the tempo and also sends signal to RC5 for pause, unpause, stop.
On Fills and transitions, the Rc5 loop keeps playing.

I’m fairly new to MIdI but I cant seem to sync the tempo on either master/slave configuration. I have the clock sync set to “auto” on the rc5 and there are limited options on the BB. Nothings working
