I think it disingenuous for SS to imply anyone can really use the BB as more than a practice tool without the added switch and it really shouldn’t be sold without it. I doubt anyone with $350 for BB wouldn’t spend another $20 if that were clear. The goal of a single pedal, one switch stomp box has created a number of compromises with the ability to use it live and double tap stop is a continual accident waiting to happen triggering false stops that needs to be optionally disabled as a switch present option. Pausing to stop with one tap isn’t a problem, accidentally going to outro and stopping is. If I didn’t have an ext switch I’d rather it take 3 or 4 taps to trigger an outro than a mistaken transition or fill.
