Footswitch scroll seizing

I have set the footswitch - left to go back a song; right to go forward. After operating faultlessly for some time, it seizes and the beat buddy begins to fail e.g. not responding to start and stop commands or failing to scroll back and for through songs in the set. This problem only developed recently after a couple of years faultless delivery. Any ideas?

I’m betting it’s your cable. Try running another TRS cable. I’ve had the same issue before – my original pedal came with a bad cable out of the box. Jay made it right right away, but, in the mean time, I used a regular TRS patch cable, and that worked fine.

Yep. A bad one will become intermittent at best.
