I have the 1st gen footswitch. I was considering upgrading to footswitch plus but if I am considering midimaestro would the footswitch be redundant?
Depends on what you want. The Maestro is much bigger, but it does a lot more, and I can use that extra functionality. So, for me, if I had the real estate, I’d go Maestro – but the regular footswitch’s compact size and simplicity certainly has its appeal.

@Honeycombkid Also, the footswitch has only 2 functions per button, and it cannot send MIDI messages. The Maestro can do a TON more. See more details here: https://singularsound.com/product/midi-maestro/

The Black Friday price was a real temptation. Looks like that has passed…
