How do I create or edit MIDI? What software can be used?

Muchas Gracias, Mahalo, Thank You for this info. Beatbuilder is the ONE I’ve been looking for and it was right under my nose!
Easy to bring in any midi file including the one’s that come with Beat Buddy, edit them and save them. As well as make your own.

Problem now is: I’m gonna spend hours playing around with it. There goes the laundry, yard work, tree trimming and all the other things I have to do around the house. I would like to say Honey Do’s but my honey is now an ex-honey. … LOL!

Seems there is no easy answer, should be noted that Reaper is no longer free other than on a trial basis.

Probably more accurate to describe Reaper’s more than fair policy as “free to try and evaluate” which I think has been their policy for the past couple of years.

The free period is 60 Days, according to their website. After that, it’s $60 for a personal license.

If you are a mac user GarageBand is simple. That is what I use.

Ok, I have Sonar X3, how to you write to a “stave” & what is a stave?

Probably meant staff?

It’s an alternative correct term for staff, apparently used in the UK.

Yes, that’s correct Phil (I’m originally from the UK).
