dedicate the Tap tempo to the footswitch?
Right now it is a crash cymbal
To set Footswitch 1 to tap tempo when playing you:
Press Tempo and Drum together to go into settings
Select Footswitch by pressing the Tempo knob
Select Footswitch functions
Select 1st Switch playing
Select Tap Tempo
Then select <-BACK until you are out of the menus
