You’ve probably already used AI to troubleshoot this issue but here’s what I found from Claude:

These new systems handle security, network data streams, and process isolation in ways that Singular Sound’s older app misinterprets, leading to complete lock-ups (e.g., the “Browse Custom Modes” page loading indefinitely or the app crashing).
The network protocol and Wi-Fi trap (The crux of the problem).
The most notable malfunction on Xiaomi/Redmi devices involves downloading custom modes online. The app attempts to connect to a remote server to retrieve Custom Modes, but its handling of network requests conflicts with how modern Wi-Fi chips and built-in firewalls (or Xiaomi’s security features) manage outbound connections.
This is why the workaround—turning off Wi-Fi, loading the page, then turning Wi-Fi back on (or temporarily switching to mobile data)—works: it forces the app to bypass its own network socket synchronization bug and compels it to fetch the data where it was previously getting stuck in the background.

I tried all this thing, impossible to find “Custom Modes” in the menu “Browse Custom Modes”.
I have only one custom mode and when I changed my phone, I lost all my configuration. (Now, I have a Google Pixel 10).
Singular sounds seems to be inactive for this issue and I’ll not purchase a iPhone just for my Midi Maestro.
The best solution is to sell my MM and buy a Morning Star.
I tried all solutions of this topic since march/april 2025.
I’m not the only one with this issue so I will not contact support for it. I’m waited for answers in this page…
I’ll change my phone in 2027 so I’ll see if anything changes to keep my MM…
