I haven’t looked into mic preamps yet. I’m guessing the XLR cable goes in, and you have a guitar cable coming out to go into the Aeros?
When the Aeros was first available to order, there was an option to bundle in one of these:
I think SS made the right call to not include the extra hardware for mic preamps in the Aeros (and keep the cost, size, and power needs of the Aeros lower). My guess is less than 10% of customers would use a built in preamp (beause they didn’t need it … or they like the one they have today). I can see that it would be convenient for those 10%.
