Problem with Updating Firmware

Hi all, I attempted to update the firmware on my BeatBuddy for the first time and while trying to paste or drag the 5 downloaded files to the SD card, I get the following error message:

“The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found.
(Error code -43)”

I didn’t try to drag/paste the files into another folder…I attempted to drag/paste them into the main SD card folder. Any solutions or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Check that SD card is unlocked
  • Use the computer SD slot reader—not the USB cable connection method
  • Delete the files and folders from the SD card by dragging them to the Trash or Recycle Bin and empty the Trash or Recycle Bin
  • Download and unzip the firmware file (yes, do it again)
  • Drag or copy and then paste the firmware files and folders to the top level of the SD card. They should not be within an enclosed folder.

Downloading and unzipping the firmware files again seemed to do the trick. Thanks much.
