hi folks. i searched the forum and couldn’t find anything so i’m posting- i have one of the very early bb and have not really had time to play with it. thankfully, now i have time…do i need to perform the updates in sequence? or can i just do 1.50 ?

The updates are currently independent. Go straight for 1.50.
