Boss RC-300 is compatible - I use it myself with my BB. The trick to getting it to work is that you must have the RC-300 drum machine running too, but set volume to 0. This writes the tempo metadata into the loops, which then keeps the BB in sync. If you do not do this then the RC-300 and BB will run at different tempos.
