Synchronize option greyed out

I have the BB connected to my PC via the USB, but the Synchronize Project option is greyed out. Anyone know what gives? And how to fix it?

Welcome, daveb. A quick checklist:

  • pedal powered up
  • SD card and USB cable fully seated
  • changes made to project and saved using BeatBuddy Manager (BBM) to BBWorkspace
  • project exported from BBM to SD card
  • prompted by BBM to Sync Project to SD card
