Using Yamaha DTX drums to create a midi file for BBM

Hi All,

Is it possible to record Yamaha DTX drum kit into say Logic Pro and create a midi file that can be imported into the BBM.

For example Creams White room starts in 5/4 time in the intro, rock beat in the verse and a sort of shuffle in the chorus.

FWIW, BB time signatures are per part rather than per song if you embed the time signature into the parts. In other words, BB does respond to embedded time signatures. So if you save the 5/4 part as a separate part with the sig embedded, BB will play it as a 5/4.

I don’t think it matters how you input the notes, if only matter how you save the resulting file.
