I’ve been playing bass for 2 years now. I was a drummer for over 50 years and switched because the church needed a bass player. Throughout my life I’ve played at a lot of different instruments, piano, guitar, trombone, clarinet, french horn, flute, sax, and of course drums and aux percussion. I’ve always played by ear and never learned to read music score. I did learn to read chords to play guitar. Now at 65, I’m learning to read music to play the piano and the bass.
