A Midi command for System → Notifications (on/off) could be really helpful.
Especially since the current midi implementation of Settings via toggling is indirect (vs. setting them explicitly). For example, the Stop song setting has three values, but one can only toggle through them, where it would have been great if you could explicitly set one of those values via Midi.
Sometimes you need to see via notifications, where you’re at, especially with setting that have more than two values. But in general, I’d like to hide notifications. So in midi programming you’d like to sometimes show what value a setting has changed to on screen, other times not.
And please don’t make this setting a toggle only, here is a suggestion for midi commands:
CC 45:
30 - Toggle Notifications
31 - Notifications On
32 - Notifications Off
