I have the midi maestro but I dont have the other 2-knob footswitch. Is there no point for me to add accent hits to the different parts when building a song in the beatbuddy online manager? The accent hits I choose there doesnt correspond to any knob on the midimaestro anyway?

The accent hit can indeed be triggered by the footswitch in general. While the MIDI Maestro doesn’t have the accent hit feature included in its BeatBuddy mode, you can program a custom mode to incorporate it.
