I’ve added some movie samples to my accent hit on the beat buddy pedal, but I’ve just ran them through whilst using the beat buddy and they’re all really quiet compared to the drums, does any one know what volume/db is the correct setting to match the drums ?
just thought i’d ask here before going back and forth rerecording them all at different db levels till i find the right one !
I don’t know the db values, but I recommend recording with highest db that doesn’t clip the sound. Then you should be able to reduce the volume without loosing the sound quality. If it makes any sense
Another option would be to digitally up the volume so then you know how much louder voice you need to match the drums And if the sound quality of the higher volume sample is good enough then no need to rerecord
thanks for the reply, i’ve topped up the volume levels on my samples, just to ask is there a way to adjust the volume settings of the accent hit in the bb manager ? reading the first paragraph in your reply that’s what I’m getting ?
as a devoted customer for any future updates, can i suggest increasing the size of the accent hit allowed (3876.0 kb) and also being able to add more than 1 accent hit ? this would allow me to add longer samples and multiple as well, just a thought for any future improvements
If you play your sound outside of BB or any BBM and compare to any other sound, is it quiet or loud? If it’s normal then there could be a setting in BBM(O?) that you’re missing
