Hello, I read on the site that with the new firmware update, we can now operate the BeatBuddy with a floor switch while it sits on an elevated stand. I would guess that this is not referring to the two button accessory switch that is available with the BB. I have this switch. Could someone please confirm if this is accurate…the switch will perform the same functions as the main BB pedal, and if so please recommend which type and brand of pedal you would recommend for this. I do not use midi, so this switch idea will be the best for me if it can be done.

Use the switch you have with an appropriately long cable. I’m using firmware v2.7.0 with a floor switch and the BB up on a shelf/table where I can reach it easily. You may need to go into the BB settings to make the floor switch function how you want.
