Ok, So the SuperSwitch is not a simple resistor ladder, and I’m fairly sure it’s more complex design is to allow for multiple simultaneous button presses…. This was also hinted at by it’s initial marketing in some places → Allowing at least 11 functions (6 single plus any two adjacent buttons together)

So when will we be getting the obvious 5 adjacent button function options in the Accessory menu?:
Button 1 & Button 2 together fucntion
Button 2 & Button 3 together function

Button 4 & Button 5 together function

It’s bulkiness and weight has to start paying dividends please  I had to change my pedalboard layout to accommodate it, and it’s using up the space which could have been used for 12 or more “normal” aux switches for my other pedals.

At the moment, you can use two adjacent switches to perform two actions simultaneously, such as pause and play accent hit.

If you would like to see different functionality or have specific feature requests, feel free to post them, and we can take them into consideration for future updates!

Ok, that’s interesting and really cool, never thought of that! Is it documented ? I may have missed that. But yeah, obviously simultaneous button presses for unique / additional functions would be an obvious next thing. I’ll make a feature request soon. One will have to think about button sensitivity of course (a new setting/option - like on midi controllers) - cause it may affect timing of time critical single presses like Record etc

This information is outlined on page 49 of the BB2 Manual.

”Stepping on both the Pause and Accent hit footswitches at the same time stops
the drums with a crash cymbal sound (if the accent hit is a crash cymbal) – a
nice effect.”

Hi Guys,

I’ve been using the superswitch with my aeros in the beta mode for a while. Just recently the aeros starts thinking that it’s an expression pedal instead of the superswitch, often showing the message asking if i want to change it’s configuration.

Had to unplug it at my last gig due to the connection starting to ride my master volume up and down.

Is this likely a software issue or TRS connection? I use the singular sound cable and I’ve had it all secured in a pedalboard format.

Hello,

Could you please first restore the default settings on your Aeros, then reproduce the issue and record a short video showing what happens? Send the video to support@singularsound.com so our team can investigate further.

Thank you!

Is there a feature like this for using the SuperSwitch with the BeatBuddy2?

Tempo +1 = Increases tempo by 1

Tempo -1 = Decreases tempo by 1

Currently, on the BeatBuddy 2 this can only be achieved using MIDI commands. Regarding tempo options, the Superswitch can do double time, half time, and tap tempo.

Thanks, Daniel! I am not up to speed on MIDI things - I don’t even know where to start. Are there plans to make this a feature of the Superswitch in a future update?

You can start a separate thread for a feature request but it does not mean they’ll deliver the feature. They will consider it and if there’s enough demand from other users, they will give it stronger consideration for implementation.
