Can I please have some direction on a future wet dry wet set up. What is better to do in this situation…
I have a loop pedal and beat buddy drum machine on my pedalboard and use that to record a rhythm backing track and jam over as desired. I’m want to keep this approach for the wet dry wet rig I’m putting together but would like direction on the best placement of those signals. Eg… Should the recorded backing track only go through the dry speaker or should that go into the wet speakers? and same for the drums… Should the drum go through the dry speaker or should the drums go through the wet speakers.
Looking forward to any expertise/direction as I’ve spent hours online and can’t find anything.
I think in the manual they say that the flatter the frequency response of the speaker the better the drums sound. That being said I’d say drums go to dry speaker.
But I’m not sure what you mean by wet speaker. Of course you can run the drums through some effects. Especially if you lift the effect with expression pedal etc
I’m thinking that you are correct regarding putting everything through the dryb middle speaker.
By dry speaker I mean the guitars actual signal and some front of amp petals. By wet speaker they will be the left and right speaker’s acting as a kill dry (no dry signal), only the effect signal.
But middle means mono, right? If you want stereo drums then use the wet speakers
Manual also says that you can run the wet signal through the Beatbuddy, meaning that BB comes out without any effects combined to the wet guitar signal
