I am looking for the quickest easiest fastest way to mute a track (in 2x2) and unmute it. I would like to be able to mute at either the end of the measure or end of the loop.
I have been working with Mute Immediately, but this doesn’t mute at end of the measure or loop. Also - is there a way to Unmute quickly? Currently when I Unmute, it follows the Fade In time setting that I have. I don’t want to change my Fade In time, because sometimes I also use the Fade to Mute and Fade In feature.
I am also not understanding the difference between Mute, Fade to Mute and Mute Immediately.
Did you change into the settings to “immediately” ?
You can do this with the track and the fade I guess
The fastest way to mute/Unmute is to go into the mixer page, select the track and mute/unmute (bottom right), in this case you don’t need to double tap
I apologize for my delayed response. We have been overloaded with emails recently, and we have been doing our best to answer each one in a timely manner.
The mute/unmute settings allow you to control when tracks mute or unmute after receiving a command. You can choose from options like “End of Loop,” “End of Measure,” or “Immediate,” depending on your preference. The default setting is “End of Measure.”
Inside setting the Mute/Unmute Track option:
Sets when the Aeros tracks will mute/unmute after receiving a Mute/Unmute command
End of Loop - The track will mute/unmute at the end of the loop
End Of Measure - The track will mute/unmute at the end of the current measure.
Immediate - The track will mute/unmute immediately
Freeform tracks will mute/unmute at the end of the loop.
End of Measure is the default setting
If Mute / Unmute Fade is enabled in the Fades Settings (pg. 84 of the manual), the track. will fade out and then mute or unmute and fade in. These volume changes are animated in the mixer.
