Would love to have an option if you were able to hit the start all on the Aeros and it would play the intro before starting the loops. It seems like the perfect setup but never having an intro is kinda of a bummer.
I think Aeros doesn’t know how long the intro is
I guess you need to have BB as master and by starting BB it would play the intro and with correct settings it would send start command after the intro when beat starts This should start playback on Aeros
But I’m no Aeros user so can’t confirm this
Ya that’s true no way of the beat buddy giving the main beat command. I was using the beat buddy as master for a little bit but with the Aeros as master it makes it much easier to have the beat buddy transition and end without hitting it in the last bar everytime. With the Aeros changing parts it send out the transition command at the last bar of the loop and also with the stop command so you don’t really have to think about it.
Could you replace the intro with a section then?
Yes, good idea. But if it’s to edit all the tracks of the BB, it might take a little time?!?! But yes, on a few tracks, why not.
How about if both BB and Aeros would be masters of each other? Would that solve anything? Or does either have no-through mode + no midi clock?
Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion!
To achieve this, you’d need to use the BeatBuddy as the master. This setup will allow you to play the intro before starting the loops on the Aeros.
