Hey anyone know why my aeros starts auto recording after 12 beats or so even tho I haven’t pressed record
Ive got count in set to zero
The thing is Im using a forum user beat 12 bar blues with bass line maybe thats got something to do with it?
Anyway around this issue
So now Ive noticed that it wants to start recording straight away when playing one of these user generated beats with bass
( after turning off count ins )
Maybe it has changed the settings after turning it off then back on
Just wondering why the aeros changes its
behaviour when playing user generated beats as compared to stock beatbuddy beats?
Makes it hard to play live if you have to remember these inconsistencies and misbehaviours…ah well might be back in the cupboard for you😀
I see there three options:
- Either Aeros reacts to the midi note signal BB sends,
- BB sends the CC command to Aeros when playing that note, or
- If you are using BBMO it could even be a bug when exporting I think there are multiple issues when exporting from BBMO like certain parts fall completely silent etc
Default beats rarely use all 128 notes while user created multi-instrument songs almost always covers them all
Another option would be that it’s not midi note but some other midi feature or it could be some difference in the pbf file
Anyway, if you can:
- Toggle BB to not send notes - option 1 can be tested,
- Record the midi commands BB sends to verify option 2, and
- Try to export with BBM instead of BBMO to check option 3
Note that option 3 can occur with option 2 and is likely the cause for it I’d consider option 1 unlikely (but then again all bugs should be unlikely )
Too technical for me…but you’d think singular sound could have made improvements by now
I can play beats with bass using a different approach ie. Start by playing an intro on the guitar then press beatbuddy pedal to begin the beat and immediatetly the aeros begins recording
But I think you are right when you say its a midi command thing
I believe it’s possible that you have an intro that is longer than usual, causing the Aeros to start recording at the main part/Part 1 as it normally would. Could you please verify if the Aeros starts recording after the intro? If so, that is expected behavior.
Let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi its to do with the track “matchbox” created by Phil
Ive tried it with no intro and with intro
As soon as you press start on the beatbuddy the aeros begins recording??
Please send a short video of the issue along with a brief summary to support@singularsound.com for further assistance. Thank you!
