Hi,
I have an Expression Pedal connected to my Aeros 5.2.1 to control volume level of my backing tracks.
If I set my expression pedal to give half the volume for a backing track it doesn’t stay at half level when I select the next song.
The volume level, after selecting the next song, automatically returns to FULL volume and not at the level set on the pedal.
Note that the level displayed in Pedal Settings also still indicates half level when I set it on the pedal.
Is there a setting I need to adjust so that the volume level output of the Aeros stays at the same preset level, set by the pedal, for all songs?
Hi Brian,
I have been using Aeros for a short time so take my troughts with a grain of salt.
I assume the backing track just stays on the same level like it was saved the last time.
So you could try saving the song with the right level of the backing tracks
Or
Giving your expression pedal a gentle touch to send a few values that Aeros can pick up just after you start the song.
I can see why it would not be a good idea for Aeros to ask from the expression pedal for the values for the next song every time it recalls the song.
I suppose saving the song again should work.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Aleksandar

Thanks, I will probably have to nudge the expression pedal as you said.
The reason why I wanted this is to set the volume on the pedal to give ¾ volume level, that way I could have some headroom should I require it like can be done on the BeatBuddy.
But have you tried with saving it in the song?
I’m sorry, I haven’t been in the studio so can’t try it myself.
One other suggestion that might work for you, not related to the Aeros, coming from my experience of the theater sound technitian:
Master all your backing tracks so that they are cosistent in level before you load them into the Aeros. Then it is one big thing less to worry about.
