Here’s one I didn’t know, but it’s in The Real Book. I looked in my collection, and found it by Ella, on the Ella Complete Songbooks, and it was a rather nice song, which I thought worthy of devoting a couple of hours toward. The chord changes are real nice, but the melody here really opens itself up to some nice counter point work. I did a little bit in the outro where the vibes come back in with the melody.
