An Aeros based 7/4 Chill Guitar thing

This came from me wanting to explore more odd time signature looping.

Great time signature to work with @RockDebris. Really enjoyed the jam. Shit you have some gear there! :+1:

Thanks. Sooner or later I’m sure I’ll do my own rig run down. Maybe when I go a week without a musical idea to explore.

Is this the FreeForm mode ? I’m getting a way crazier time signature than 7/4

No, it’s 7/4 all the way through. Not FreeForm. Maybe the snare on the 1 is throwing you for a loop?

(oh, there is a small section of 4/4, but it’s when I stop all the machines)

I’m getting 21/8 so perhaps if the Aeros is in 7/4 you’re recording enough measures for it to come around. I’m just intrigued how you’re doing this.

Ah, it’s triplet feel. Maybe you are counting each beat of the triplet as an 8th note?

I believe so as I’m not hearing 7/4 simple time at all. Just compound time 12/8 + 9/8

I’m hearing The pulse and all those hi hats as Duple 8th’s.

Either way, tasty AF and 7/4 vs a bar of 12/8 and a bar of 9/8 occupy the same space.

Thanks. I order mine from amazon if they are available, yes. Pick choice is very personal, you’ll have to experiment.
