With having the new bb2 and auto pilot I was loving the ease of it. Bought the Aeros studio gold edition and figured out it doesn’t switch parts with the beatbuddy. I understand you can do the automatic part switching that goes in sequential order. But why doesn’t it follow the beatbuddy buddy parts if your going back and forth between parts or in autopilot mode if you can keep the parts to 6 for the whole song. Am I missing something cause that would just make sense especially for how much these units cost.

I fully agree with you. I too was disappointed that the BB2 with autopilot was not configured to work more in tandem with the Aeros in 6x6 mode. The Beatbuddy / BBMO should be able to send CC 113 values 1-6 to the Aeros before the end of any BB song part part so that the Aeros can transition to any pre-selected 6x6 part on the Aeros without the need for the user to select it manually while a song is playing. The Beatbuddy already sends out related CC113 MIDI instructions to the Aeros so this would seem like an obvious feature to design into the system.

Set the Aeros as master, in this case when a part is switching on the Aeros it will change the corresponding part on the BB ! I mean Part 1 on Aeros is Part 1 on BB, Part 2 Aeros is Part 2 BB etc…
I was trying it like that but I don’t always use the looper mainly the beatbuddy. And when I had the Aeros set to master it won’t play the intros of the beat buddy it will go right in to part one. I don’t really do looping for my shows more of a prerecorded part for background instruments or solo stuff throughout the song.
