Hello all.
I have made my first Autopilot song which contains an intro, 8 song parts and an outro. The song plays perfectly in BBMO pedal preview but will not play the same on my BB2. Is there a difference between BBMO and the BB2 pedal that I am not aware of?
Some suggestions to improve the quality of the answer you get from Support, support@singularsound.com
- which version of the firmware are you using?
- can you explain what the differences are when playing the song on the BB2?
- zip and attach the song file when you reply, please.
Thanks Persist.
I an using firmware version: BB2-1.0.1
BB2 plays transitions when I have none set. For some reason the BB2 display doesn’t match with what I see when it is played on BBMO. The song is comlete but quite raw. Once I can play it ok will add more detail. Song file below.

Hey there
What you are seeing is normal behavior, the BeatBuddy 2 “transitions” without playing a transition file if an autopilot part does not have a transition file loaded. This is the same behavior that BB2 would have if you manually tried to transition from a part that has no transition file, it still transitions.
There are still occasiaonally discrepancies between the BBMO player and the BB2, to minimize, the workload we did not make the virtual player UI look just like the BB2, but the timing of events should be identical.
If you are seeing events like transitions, fills, or outros play at the wrong time, or if a main beat is not respecting the AP value, please let us know what specifially is going wrong and we can look into it.
If you would like a part to loop normally without transitioning on it’s own, you need to turn AP off for that section.
Let us know, thank you!
