Backing track or recorded loop playback speed change question

Not sure whether this should go to general questions or feature requests.
I have the BB for a couple years now and now I’m on the verge of buying the Aeros Studio.
Before pulling the trigger I’d like to know whether it’s possible to modify backing track or a recorded loop playback speed.
I have two specific use-cases in mind, both are practice-related (not live looping):

  1. Slow back a backing track so I could practice my part on lower speeds (gradually increasing the speed with practice).
  2. Speed up a slow loop, so I’ll be able to record a backing track at a lower speed (too complex for me).

I understand that these features require “re-quantization” and that the implementation that “sounds good enough” is actually harder to implement in one of the scenarios.
But for practicing purposes the quality doesn’t play such a huge role.
Sincerely,
PF

That’s been discussed. I think there’s some work on that. I don’t have anything to suggest it’s likely to be released (any time soon) or be without challenges.
