BB Global Accents via Midi Maestro

Thanks Devs etc for all you do. If not already in our future, it would be great to be able to access the Beatbuddys global accents via the midi maestro. I have four that I always use and I realize I could just add them to every kit I use but it would mess up the midi map.

Thanks for the kind words and great suggestion! You can actually trigger the global accent hit using this MIDI command:

CC:110
Value 0–127 – This sets the volume (0 = mute, 100 = original volume, 127 = boosted).

If you don’t have a global accent hit set, it will play the accent hit of the current song.

Can you make and access multiple global accents from MM this way?

Since the global accent hit is global, that means you can use one accent hit across all songs on the BeatBuddy.

If you’d like to have different accent hits for different songs, you can load them individually using the BeatBuddy Manager Online.

The MIDI Maestro will trigger either the global accent hit, if one is set up, or the accent hit of the current song, depending on how it’s configured.
