BB manager editor question

Hi all,
So I finally got around to looking at the MIDI editor built into the BB manager. It is a nice addition.

If I edit a MIDI beat to one of my songs which is based on the MIDI files that came with BB does it overwrite the original MIDI file? Do I have to specifically save it somewhere else?

The point is some of the MIDI files for me are used in multiple songs so I don’t want to affect them if I edit the MIDI in a specific tune.

It will overwrite the default BB song so it’s best to export and then reimport the song you want to use to another folder.

Several users have come up with workarounds and you can find them here by searching on “copy”; if I remember correctly, you can use fingerstylepicker and rob22315 as member names that posted some techniques.
