Just adding one comment, perhaps as a warning for others:
The CC 107 works without CC 106, but it’s not suggested as once you need tempo over 127 then all the songs you used just CC 107 you need to add also CC 106 value 0, otherwise it’ll give way too high BPM 
I originally thought that BB would forget the CC 106 after a short time but no, it sticks forever
