Out of curiosity, what was the design rationale for the BeatBuddy to have a single button in a modified Boss style (button cover).
It’s a large, solid pedal in a custom, three piece design which can’t be cheap to make.
This is mostly out of curiosity as I know the cost to redesign is not cheap. Still I wonder if there have been any thoughts to a Gen 2 pedal with a different layout?
The button is a big target. Is it faster or more precise in some way?
The display needs a bit of space, as do the ports. Not sure all the knobs and buttons are strictly needed. The MIDI mini-din would be my first change…!
