New BB2 here. Set up for expression to control dynamic. I guess I was expecting heel down would simplify beat, toe down would add more hat or something. But instead it seems to just adjust volume. My screen shows “dynamic control” and goes from 126 to -127.
I have midi in for clock. Maybe that’s overriding..
Maybe it’s dependent on the beat I’m using?

Please make sure to calibrate your EXP pedal first, then in the settings select Dynamic Control as the assigned function. Also ensure your firmware is updated to the latest version (currently 1.0.1).
MIDI clock should not override the EXP behavior in this case.

I want to ask on the forum why this isn’t being discussed in the thread, but instead people are being pushed to go through technical support. That way, the rest of us who are interested in the topic have no insight into the solution.

I usually try to suggest a general solution in-thread, but if the issue persists it sometimes needs a closer look (often setup-related or user error), and in those cases a short video really helps clarify things. Email can also be faster for sharing attachments, which is why I may suggest it to make sure nothing gets missed.
