I have a Toca Synergy conga/bongo set. For years I always hooked my mp3 player to the PA and practiced to pre-recorded songs by various artists. Now that I have a beat buddy mini, my mp3 player collects dust. I use the BBM even when we have band jams as a back up drummer. It’s a tool to make sure we are tight. Kind of a modern day metronome. In my spare time, I love doing solos with the 100+ beats on the BB mini. It is one of the most resourceful tools I have in my hand drumming arsenal. I’m going to order the percussion pack. Probably get a regular beat buddy too.
