I have been testing the latest Beta FW (2.1) from the VL3 user forum, and confirm that now the two really work together seamlessly. You can have the fill-in intros on in BB and yet start the loop recording right at the first beat of the pattern.
In addition, VL3 now offers USB audio in/out, so one can very easily make a video with 16bit/48kHz stereo audio on, say iPad camera, like I did on this:
It’s so good to have these two go together!
