Using the Beatbuddy 2 and the superswitch, it would be great for one of the buttons on the superswitch to be programmed to send the midi command such as (program Change) PC 4 or PC 5 through the BB2 midi output to another device? I use an ipad with Songbook Chord Pro and each song has midi code in it to select the proper song folder and song as well as the tempo and drum kit, when I open each song in song book. If I could use button 4 and 5 on the superswitch to send the midi command PC4 and PC5 back to the Ipad from the BB2 to do a page up and page down this would make the superswitch the one and only peddle I ever need. Hopfully something that could be considered in a future firmware update for the Beatbuddy2.

Hi @geraldhealey I already do something similar with almost the same setup. BB (not the 2) and SongBook (for Windows Tablets) on a Surface Pro.
I have simply set the BB to issue the START command, when I start the song on the BeatBuddy and in SongBook Settings, told it to MIDI Scroll Down on START.
Yes, it is a “scroll”, not a “page”, but if you also include the {duration:m:ss} in your song, I find most of the time the scroll speed is perfect to be able to see the lyrics and chords for the entire song. If it is not, a small adjustment of the {duration: m:ss} fixes that.
Just a thought.
Hi Gerald,
Thank you for posting the request! I’ve forwarded it to the team for consideration.
