Hello, I see the new Beatbuddy 2 has an Autopilot songs option. Does anyone know if the BBMO will have the option to make your own Autopilot songs? (This could be a dealbreaker for me if not possible).
Yes, you will definitely be able to create your own Autopilot songs with BeatBuddyManager Online. It’s such an essential feature—it just wouldn’t make sense otherwise! I’m sure this will be supported, so you can customize your songs exactly how you like.
I hope that’s the case, but I haven’t seen anything official.
Yes, there will be an update to BBMO to support AP, we plan on making it available once BB2 is officially available to purchase
Thanks for the question!
Ok great! Thanks, that is good news.
2 posts were split to a new topic: Where can I find the BBMO?
Contentious maybe, but will I still be able to use BBM with the BB2?
Assuming that the BB2 will have had zero testing with legacy BBM correct?
Kinda related question… Will an SD card that is programmed/setup for the BB2 work in the BB original minus the BB2 extra features? Someone may upgrade to a BB2 and still have a BB original that they keep as a gigging backup and would want the same song sets that they use in the BB2. I presume an SD card from the BB original should work OK in the BB2 (?)
The BeatBuddy Manager will not be compatible with the BeatBuddy 2 — we recommend using the BeatBuddy Manager Online instead.
Yes, an original BeatBuddy SD card will work just fine in the BeatBuddy 2. However, it won’t work the other way around—an SD card set up for the BB2 won’t work properly in the original BeatBuddy, since it can’t handle the HD drum sets or the Autopilot feature.
Can’t get on with the online version.
