BeatBuddy 2 starting on release instead of press – how to fix?

Hello everyone,

I have a BeatBuddy 2 and I have selected the function to start the beat on press, but the BeatBuddy currently only starts after the release.

Could anyone tell me what settings or adjustments are needed to get it to start immediately on the press function?

While waiting for Support to weigh in with an answer, Restore Default Settings > Yes on your pedal and then test the start the beat on press function with a song.

Yes, please update your BeatBuddy 2 firmware by following the instructions here: https://www.singularsound.com/pages/firmware

Then, restore the default settings and test the function again.

If the issue persists, please email a short video showing the issue to support@singularsound.com so we can investigate further.
