Ah, thanks for that. Worked with it today, and got it to change, but NOW I see the problem. If you want to set the 600 to single mode with Track Change at Loop End, it immediately sends 113 to BB instead of waiting until loop end. Consequently, you have to be press the pedal exactly at the Loop change if you want the BB to change at the same time, which defeats the purpose of the single mode for Verse/Chorus/Bridge changes. That sucks. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to delay the 113 send until loop end.
I tend to use end of measure based transition timing for both beatbuddy and looper so I don’t have that issue. Not sure there’s a solution for the problem that you describe as the midi commands are tied to the button press and release not the loop transition. Good luck.
How are you? I just started using this system which worked awesome when I first set it up on a song but now my RC600 is triggering the Beatbuddy all the time even with the assigns off and on a brand new, clear memory. This is not making any sense at all as there is nothing assigned to the CC#113 at all. I updated the firmware on the RC600 and also reset the Beatbuddy with no luck. I’ve even tried setting the assign to something totally unrelated. This started when I went into the rhythm settings to see if I can set it up to play the intro before recording but I set everything there back to where it was. Even so, it is happening on every blank memory with absolutely nothing set up. Any suggestions?
Check your system real time settings on the Beatbuddy. The RC600 sends out start and stop real time messages. You can set Beatbuddy to ignore them.
Awesome I will try that, thank you. I actually realized after I posted this that the midi control #'s only correspond to choosing your part and have nothing to do with the midi on/off command so what you suggest may just work but if not, now that I understand I can work with it. It actually works flawlessly once you understand what to do. Cool shit!!
