Beatbuddy external midi

I’d like to know if anyone has ever tried using beatbuddy to send MIDI messages to another drum machine. This would allow you to have foot control for changes and rhythms with beat buddy, but the sounds of the drum machine. In my case I use elektron digitakt, and I would like to be able to change the drum sounds through elektron. In summary: rhythms and foot controls are beatbuddy, but sounds from the external drum machine … Has anyone ever tried?

Hey there,

This is very easy to do, just connect the MIDI out port of the MIDI Breakout cable to your drum machine’s MIDI In.

Make sure the setting for sending MIDI notes is enabled (Main Pedal > MIDI Settings > MIDI Out > Notes)

Then, the Drum machine will receive the MIDI being sent by the BB and play is using its own sounds.
