BeatBuddy Manager not Saving New Folders

I am running a Mac with Big Sur. I create a new folder and add my songs to it. I export project to the SD card but it never shows up in the pedal. Help please. This is so frustrating! Thanks!

What type and size SD card are you using and have you made sure that the card is unlocked?

I am using the one that came with the BeatBuddy. 4 gig. It is unlocked.

Thanks. I’m going to assume that the songs show and display in the BeatBuddy Manager (BBM) or the BBMO and that there is no message displayed on the screen of the pedal when you insert the SD card. If this isn’t correct, please let us know.

Here’s what it could be and for you to check:

  • SD card is full; you can check it using Get Info
  • card and or project is corrupt; insert card in your Mac slot reader; use Disk Utility to Erase and set the format as MS-DOS(FAT32); use the BBM - File - Export - Project to SD card; test on your pedal
  • you might have inadvertently used a period or comma to name one of the songs or folders; if so, remove the period or comma from the song or folder title

If none of this works, please open your SD card and attach a screen shot of the contents. It might help to figure out what’s going on.

Strangest thing…I just tried it again and it worked. I changed nothing…Who knows?! Thanks for the help. I will save this for future reference.
