BeatBuddy Plug In for DAW

Here is the Studio One Windows version, works perfectly. Thanks.

Hi again,
tried it again today without installing the plugin once more!!! - and the correct gui is visible. :grinning: Sadly the Select Drum-Set Directory button does not work. Anything I can do, to fix this?

Hi Daniel, is that because the plugin is a 32 bit one? Will the final version be in 64 bit and will it work on studio one, cubebase…? Can you give an approximate time, when it will be released?

Please disregard the previous message (now removed), the BeatBuddy plugin is a 64-bit application and this is not related to why it is not working for you, there is likely another reason. Please email support@singularsoubd.com so we can track and troubleshoot your issue.

Thanks

I have an Intel Mac running sequoia 15.11. I got a copy of Abelton lite withe audio interface I purchased. The Abelton version is 12.1.1.

I have downloaded the DAW plugin and installed it.

Can anyone give me a step by step guide of how to use it. I want to create new beats and bring them into BBM.

TIA,

ian

Hi Ian,

Thank you for reaching out!

Please follow the manual that you can find in this post for step-by-step instructions on how to use the DAW plugin and bring your beats into BBM.

Hi Daniel, it’s coming up to a year and a half since the BETA was made available, surely there is an official release available by now?

Is there still an operable beta?

Hi Graham! Thanks for checking in. We’ll update the original post as soon as there are any updates!

Hi, I’m using the BB plugin in Reaper and was very happy with it. But lately it crashes Reaper instantly every time when I try to use it. It happens with both AU and VST versions. Any idea ?

Mac mini M4 - Tahoe 26.5.1 - Reaper 7.75

Please try reinstalling the plugin and let us know if the issue persists.

Hi Daniel,

i already did before asking, of course. But no results. I assume it’s linked with one of the later update of Reaper.

I try again but just to be sure

ok, I searched again.

For some strange reason there were multiple instances of beatbuddyemulator on my machine. Why ? I really don’t know but there’ been for a long time as I didn’t reinstall it recently. It seams that deleting the additional one did the job.
