BeatBuddy plugin problem

Hello,
I used the BeatBuddy plugin in my DAW Cubase 13, which worked perfectly. Now I’m trying to load it into an instrument track in my new Cubase Elements 15 (upgrade version), but it’s not working. I’m getting an error message: “A serious problem has occurred in the following file: C:\ …\KERNELBASE.dll . Cubase 15.0.10.64 bit has become unstable…”

I have no idea what the problem is. Perhaps someone can help?

Hello,

I recommend reinstalling the BeatBuddy plugin, as this often resolves similar issues. If the problem persists, please contact Cubase support directly for further assistance.

Reinstalling the BeatBuddy Plugins is not helpful. I just informed Cubase Support.

Here’s the translation into English: The crash report still points to a faulty component in the “BeatBuddyEmulator.vst3” module, specifically “BeatBuddy-Drumset-v0-0-5.dll” in the plugin’s \Contents\Frameworks directory. Cubase is therefore still crashing as a result of this plugin’s unexpected behavior.

In this case, I can only recommend contacting Singular Sound support and providing them with the crash report you attached to your last message. Only the manufacturer can properly investigate the cause of the crash and likely resolve the issue.
