Can anyone advise if there are different versions of the beatbuddy, ie. is a beatbuddy from 2019 the same as buying one in 2024?

The beauty of the BeatBuddy is that the drum sets, song and the firmware are all on the SD card. I bought mine early on and have updated it through all of these years. So, the answer is “YES”.
