BeatBuilder...any version that doesn't need Java?

I am really loathe to install java on my PC, just for one small app, so I was wondering if there are plans to update it to something NOT Java, or if there is any other way I can run it outside Java?

Beat Builder was developed by one of the BB users and I don’t think he’s updated it in a couple of years. It is not a Singular Sound supported app.
