Bell Bottom Blues

Here’s Bell Bottom Blues in both OPB and Jammer format.

The OPB follows the same structure as the studio recording

  • (Verse/Pre/Chorus | Verse/Pre/Chorus | Solo/Pre/Chorus | Verse/Pre/Double Chorus | Ending Lick)

The Jammer is as follows:

  • Intro - 4 hat count in
  • Part 1 - The Verse progression twice (starting on C and ending on the turnaround lick)
** Fill 1, 2 and 3 - Entire Pre-chorus and chorus with lead in measure. Trigger on the last F/G measure in the verse or solo
    ** Fill 4 - Entire pre-chorus and a double chorus
  • Part 2 - Just the full chorus (5 bars) on a loop. If you want to extend out the chorus, transition to this part on the last measure of one of the double choruses in Fill 4.
  • Outro - Full chorus (5 bars) with the ending lick for a total of 6 bars.

Trigger the outro on bar 1 of the last time through the full chorus (5 bars). Keep in mind that each progression in the chorus is 2.5 measures long, so be aware of if you are “in time” or not when triggering the outro or the move to Part 2.

Both versions are included, along with the source midi and created parts. This should work with most kits that have the Bass in the 0-31 slot.
