Best SD card for aeros?

There are no current posts about this, so consider this an update.
What size and speed SD Card works best for aeros gold edition, ver 5.21?

I just bought this unit by the way, and since no one has posted about this for quite a while, several years in fact, I figured it might be time to update the info so people can find it when they need it.

SDHC Class 10 no larger than 32Gb.

Awesome. Thank you again.

Does the speed matter? There are multiple speeds.

Class 10 is the fastest for an SDHC card.

Don’t waste your money on high speed cards for video cameras: avoid SDXC cards.

Ok so there are SDHC class 10 cards that have varying speeds. I attached two examples… Am I better with 90 MB per second or 120 MB per second?

This is what I use Micro Center 32GB SD Card Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card - Micro Center

You can try either speed as I don’t recall any users reporting speed test comparison results.

Don’t bother with Micro SD cards. You probably know this but this is for the other users reading this thread.

Yes, micro sd cards are for other devices.
So here is the speed you are using for this card. It is a slow speed compared to other devices.

So the write speed to the card is the “10” of CD10. The read speed is 60 for this card, I do not know if that is the max, or the standard.
I am hoping the community will give feedback on cards.

For SD cards I pretty much use Sandisk for all my devices (cameras, digital audio recorders, camcorders, and BeatBuddy). I have used MicroCenter brand USB thumbdrives and the perform well and the SD cards that persist suggested I suspect would work fine also and they are well rated on Amazon. The cost difference isn’t much between a lower speed SD card and a faster one isn’t that much and I’ve been buying the ones shown below. A 3 pack is a bit cheaper than buying singles and it’s a good a idea to have spares/extras for different projects or as backups. A 5 pack of the MicroCenter SD cards would be a good choice as well.
I’ve tried different speed cards in my BeatBuddy. The speed of loading a drumkit was not much different between a ‘slow’ card and a ‘fast’ card. I don’t have an Aeros, but I suspect the card speed wouldn’t make much difference in performance and limited by the design of the Aeros.
