So in BB manager, it looks like you can add as many sequences as needed. That said, what would be the best way to create a song in the form of ABABCA? I could create six main groove steps or is there a way to go back to A from B? How do the pros do it? 
You’d need to use six main groove steps (actually a mix of three steps – A, B, and C).
You could do it with only three if you wanted to drive the BB with a MIDI Maestro, but that’s kinda overkill if all you’re trying to do is save a couple of steps at programming-time.

Technically, you could get by with 5, A,B,A,B,C, since after that, the BB would loop back to A, and then you can end.
